Famous Mini owners in the 60’s included Peter Sellars, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, Ringo Star and Spike Milligan. 
Mini Mokes landed star roles in the TV show ‘The Prisoner’ in 1967 and Mini Mania zoomed in from Europe in 1969 as Mini Coopers upstaged even Michael Caine in the film ‘The Italian Job’.  Later in 1990 Mini took centre stage in the film ‘Three Men and a Little Lady’.  
Mini was voted ‘Greatest Car of All Time’ in 1991 by the UK based Autocar Magazine.
